CamStudio is a very light screen recorder with very little function. The good thing is that CamStudio performs the function of recording very well but sound has a little problem. Also CamStudio creates the video file very large that it is not easy to upload.

Windows Family:

Microsoft Windows that is mostly referred as “Windows” is the most used operating system in the world. Windows 8 is the latest version of Windows. A picture of Windows 8 is attached on the side.

We are now presenting a brief summary of evolution of Windows Operating System:

Windows 98:

Windows 98 was an upgrade version of Windows 95. Despite of being old it is still being used in some schools and also in some home computers. Windows 98 was not a perfect operating system but after that more people try to launch a more advance operating system.

Windows NT:

Windows 98 was later combined with an older OS Windows 95 and the combination was named as Windows NT or Windows NT station.

Windows 2000:

Microsoft Windows 2000 was released in two main versions Windows Me and Windows 2000 professional for business and schools. With respect to appearance Windows 2000 resembles to Windows 98 a lot.

Windows XP:

Microsoft Windows is probably the easiest version of Windows. It was released in 2001. It was marketed in two versions Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional.

Windows XP has all the basic software pre-installed in it. Windows XP is a lot improved with respect to visuals with clean lines and more security.

Windows Vista:

Windows Vista is the OS that is more complex with respect to Windows XP. New visuals, Sounds, Themes made Windows Vista an unreliable Operating System.

Windows 7:

Windows 7 released in 2009, probably the most successful Operating System of Windows family. Windows 7 is the successor to Windows Vista.

Windows 7 also has new sounds, themes, wallpapers, themes and visuals and these are much better then the one vista had.

Installation of 7 is kept as simple as possible and many new features are introduced.

How To Change Picture Background using Adobe Photoshop 7.0

I was wondering that how can we change the background of a picture if a person in standing in a place then how can we let it standing on another place. Finally I have done the work using Magnetic Lasso Tool.

Steps are listed below:

1. Open the image in Adobe Photoshop using open dialog box

2. Now right click on lasso tool and click on magnetic lasso tool.

3. Then move the tool on the person’s body outline.

4. Now press enter then it will look like this
5. Right click and click on layer via copy
6. On the layer menu click on new then layer or press Shift+Ctrl+N.

7. Now open the new background image in Photoshop.
8. Now select all the image by pressing Ctrl+A and copy using Ctrl+C.
9. Now paste it on the original image using Ctrl+P.
10. Now delete the layer named “Background”
11. Change the order of the two layers Layer 1 and layer 2.
12. Now change the size of layer 2 using Ctrl+T.

13. You are done as shown in figure.

How To Save File in JPEG Format Using Adobe® Photoshop 7.0

To View a file using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer it should be in JPEG, GIF, BITMAP but in Photoshop when we save a file it is in PSD format and Windows Picture and Fax Viewer refuse to shows it and it also cannot be print out. So to play a file we should save it as JPEG.

Steps are listed below:

1. Click on the file menu and click on Save As….

2. A Dialog Box will appear in the format change PSD into JPEG.

3. Now Click on Save Button.

How to lock folders in Windows XP

 

Here are the steps to create the protected folder in Windows XP:

· First create a folder that you will use to store your confidential data. For example, I have created a folder called Fonts at the root of my D drive. Since the hidden folder will bring you to the Control Panel, it’s best to name the folder as one of the programs inside there.

· In the same location where you created the new folder, create a new file in Notepad, copy the following below into it, replace Fonts with the name of your folder and save it as loc.bat.

ren Fonts Fonts.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

· To save the file as a .bat file in Notepad, just put the whole thing in quotes, like “loc.bat” and then click Save.

· Now you should have a bat file named loc in the same directory as your Fonts folder, not inside the Fonts folder.

· Create another NotePad file and type in the following listed below and save it as “key.bat”.

ren Fonts.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} Fonts

· Now you’ll have loc.bat and key.bat along with your folder. Go ahead and double-click on loc.bat and your folder will turn into the Control Panel and nothing inside can be viewed. Clicking on it will simply bring you to the Control Panel. You’ll notice the icon should have changed also.

· To view the data inside your folder again, click on key.bat and your folder will return to normal! Pretty simple!

Of course, keeping the key.bat file in the same folder will defeat the purpose of securing the folder, so it’s best to move the key.bat file somewhere else, or even better, put it on a USB stick or CD that only you can access.

Most people will be probably look at the folder and simply ignore it since it has the control panel icon and it links directly there. Of course, if someone knows this trick also, they can create their own key.bat file, etc and open it back up. However, if you’re dealing with someone who can do all of that, it’s best you check out more advanced 3rd party software to lock down a folder.

IDM is a famous download manager which can increase the download speed. All its do is it create some extra parts of file for downloading and then combine them and form a file

IDM store the parts in its temproary directory and sometimes the opreator wants to know what is the temprory adress for IDM.
                    To fine it we just need to follow the steps given below
Step 1
            Open IDM Windows by clicking its tray icon.

Step 2
             Click on the Downloads Menu and then click on Options.

Step 3
        A box will appear and click on Save To Tab and note adress in the Temprory Directory.
