How To Change Picture Background using Adobe Photoshop 7.0

I was wondering that how can we change the background of a picture if a person in standing in a place then how can we let it standing on another place. Finally I have done the work using Magnetic Lasso Tool.

Steps are listed below:

  1. Open the image in Adobe Photoshop using open dialog box

  1. Now right click on lasso tool and click on magnetic lasso tool.

  1. Then move the tool on the person’s body outline.

  1. Now press enter then it will look like this clip_image011
  2. Right click and click on layer via copy clip_image013
  3. On the layer menu click on new then layer or press Shift+Ctrl+N. clip_image015
  1. Now open the new background image in Photoshop.clip_image017
  2. Now select all the image by pressing Ctrl+A and copy using Ctrl+C.clip_image019
  3. Now paste it on the original image using Ctrl+P.clip_image021
  4. Now delete the layer named “Background” clip_image023
  5. Change the order of the two layers Layer 1 and layer 2. clip_image025
  6. Now change the size of layer 2 using Ctrl+T.

  1. You are done as shown in figure.

      Bro! Are you really sure that you are using Photoshop, Coz, Magictic LAsso is avalible in every version of photoshop, please check, I have a feeling that you re using Image Ready instead of photoshop.

      When you've selected the object, just press right button of mouse and click on "Layer Via Copy" Option, also there's a screenshot explaining it!

    there are simpler ways,once you have outlined the image with lasso,the ant like move will define it,copy layar and open another image where you want to paste it,copy this as well
    now go to the lasso selected copy,use move tool (the arrow first row left) and with that move the selected outline copy on new back ground copy
    open EDIT drop down, select free transform and six the image as per the size of back ground
    enter and image is on the new back ground!

    After copying the second image,by ctrl+c I could not paste it on the first image by ctrl+p, I am getting the option of printing by using ctrl+P
